I went downtown in Savannah, GA, and gathered references for buildings I found interesting. After choosing which building I wanted to model, I corrected the perspective in Photoshop to make the modeling process more accurate. The focus on the project was to create a modular kit, so I analyzed how I could break the building down into modular pieces. After my kit was constructed I assembled it in Unreal. I created seamless textures using Substance Painter before taking my final renders and comparison shot.
